Spaced Out Multichrome Magnetic Nail Polish

Magnetic polishes are an out-of-this-world invention! With the power of a magnet, color is shifted and relocated on the nail for a futuristic 3D effect.
This magnetic multichrome is full of fantastic flipping pigment. Purple and pink hues give way to shades of green-blue; in photos, an almost silver color appears. This is one shade you won’t want to take off!

KBShimmer Magnetic Multichrome and Duochrome polishes are a fun way to bring a unique and nearly 3D effect to your nails. With the use of the KBShimmer magnet, a linear design will appear, drying to a beautiful, shifty pattern on your nails.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prep nails with KBShimmer Basic Training or Fillin’ Groovy Base Coat.
2. Apply 1 coat of Magnetic Polish to all 10 nails and let dry. (Optional: apply 1 coat of black polish before first coat of magnetic polish.)
3. Apply a second, thick coat of magnetic polish on 1 nail. Ensure polish is thick, but not dripping.
4. Immediately after application, hold magnet 1/4 inch away from nail at an angle. Hold magnet over nail for 15-30 seconds.
5. The longer and closer you hold the magnet over the polish, the more pronounced the pattern will be.
6. Repeat with a third coat if desired, holding magnet in the same place as previously held.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 with every nail. Top with holographic glitter top coat for a true galaxy feel.
8. Finish with KBShimmer Clearly On Top quick-dry top coat. Again, hold magnet over nail for 15-30 seconds after top coat application.
9. As polish dries, pattern will spread out. The longer you hold the magnet when drying, the less it will spread.
This listing is for a standard full-sized 15ml /.5oz bottle with our glitter grabbing flat brush. Two stainless steel balls are included in every polish bottle.

This polish is beautiful, but I am finding it hard to do the nice magnetic touches if I work directly on my nails. I am getting much better results making decals on a silicone mat, with just one coat of Spaced Out over black. Much easier to hold the magnet longer on a mat, and with just one coat of the magnetic polish, you don't have to worry about lining things up exactly the same again or blurring the lines, lessening the striking effects.

I am in love with this polish. I’d originally gotten this shade from another online site, then my son poured it out. Ugh. Then I found it here and for half the price! When I got it, my son took it again, still haven’t found it!! So I reordered a week later. It was all worth it to end up with this amazing polish!!! Not only is it my fave colors, the formula is absolutely amazing, magnetics are great, the colors move so well and it’s strong! I’ve had it on 6 days so far with no chips and I use my hands A LOT! Seriously, it’s my favorite polish ever.

This polish is beautiful whether you use it magnetically or not. I LOVE the pink and teal that pop out with the magnet- my two favorite colors! This magnetic polish worked really well for me, even for a first-timer. I did not have any trouble getting the beautiful "cat eye" look of magnetic polishes. I recommend putting a black coat beneath this polish to get it to look its best.

This polish is perfect in two coats and the magnetic effect is easy to achieve. Even after top coat is applied, the magnetic lines stay crisp and clean. The multichrome shifts give this polish a unique 3-D effect.

The color of this polish is GORGEOUS. The shifting quality of the multichrome is dramatic, highly visible and amazing (and very distracting while driving). However-- despite very careful application and use of the magnet (I used the KB Shimmer magnet), and a LOT of time spent (paint one, magnet for a minute, paint the next, magnet for a minute... etc. throughout the 2nd and 3rd coats)-- there was about zero evidence of it its magnetic qualities in my finished mani. So I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. But, magnets are finicky, and user error is certainly a possibility (am thinking maybe my coats were too thin?). So I'll definitely be trying again... I want to get to full potential mani awesomeness with this amazing color!

I ordered this one based on the pictures. My nails have pretty much just been green with an occasional navy. They've never come out the gorgeous colors like these pictures and I've been in many different light settings. I was almost wondering if it was mismarked because it looked like the pictures for one of the other magnetic colors. I also have not been able to get the magnet to work at all. I've tried a few different ways and it just does not work
