Childhood was the best. When school was out, we would wake up, throw on our favorite cutoff jeans, find our friends, and stay out until the street lights came on. We would ride bikes, swing, play in the sprinklers and eat popsicles to beat the heat. Best Buds is a nod to those long childhood summer days. This tri-thermal polish starts as a jean-like deep slate blue, then warms into a deepened orchid that gives way to a bright minty lime, all accented with classic aurora shimmer that goes from a coppery orange to a bright green.
Type: Tri-Thermal w/Aurora Shimmer
Base: 10-Free
Glitter Load: Micro
Glitter Size: Micro
Recommended Coats: 2 Coats
Notes: For best results follow with a quick-dry top coat. Tri-thermal polishes are sensitive to cold and heat. For best results, keep in a cool, dark area and do not let sit in hot mailboxes or cars. Let polish adjust to room tempature for best results.
We guarantee our thermal polishes for 6 months from the date of purchase. If your thermal polish stops transitioning within that time frame, we will replace the polish one time. If you live in areas with extreme heat, please know that fluctuations in temperature during transit and time outdoors in mailboxes/cars during high heat can reduce the longevity of the effect. Shipping UPS and to an address where polish won’t sit outdoors is suggested.

A little sheer. I had to do three fairly thick coats to get full opacity, and this is a *very* slow-drying polish. Also, apparently the climate where I live isn’t cold enough for the dark purple to show up at all. 🙁

I’m beyond addicted to this polish! It’s the most vivid color changing polish I’ve ever had, and I’ve had several temperature-reactive gel manicures before. The difference between the light green and the medium cranberry is so stark its incredible, and the ambient sheen is a really fascinating color on its own. There have been times when the tips of my nails have been the dark purple and the beds of my nails have been the green, and it’s just an amazing look. I am positively obsessed!

It is more light green than the photos suggest, but that actually makes it better! It’s a beautiful mint color with an almost coppery shimmer when warm. As it gets cooler, it gently fades through a peachy pink to a blue/Purple. It’s so pretty. I love watching all the color transformations!

This polish reminded me of how there are still some green left on the trees but it’s getting to be jeans weather! It’s also very transformative, changing from green to deep navy just as I walk from my car into work. Also, I purchased this bottle over two years ago and it’s still changing colors!!
