KBShimmer Magnetic Multichrome and Duochrome polishes are a fun way to bring a unique and nearly 3D effect to your nails. With the use of the KBShimmer magnet, a linear design will appear, drying to a beautiful, shifty pattern on your nails.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prep nails with KBShimmer Basic Training or Fillin’ Groovy Base Coat.
2. Apply 1 coat of Magnetic Polish to all 10 nails and let dry. (Optional: apply 1 coat of black polish before first coat of magnetic polish.)
3. Apply a second, thick coat of magnetic polish on 1 nail. Ensure polish is thick, but not dripping.
4. Immediately after application, hold magnet 1/4 inch away from nail at an angle. Hold magnet over nail for 15-30 seconds.
5. The longer and closer you hold the magnet over the polish, the more pronounced the pattern will be.
6. Repeat with a third coat if desired, holding magnet in the same place as previously held.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 with every nail. Top with holographic glitter top coat for a true galaxy feel.
8. Finish with KBShimmer Clearly On Top quick-dry top coat. Again, hold magnet over nail for 15-30 seconds after top coat application.
9. As polish dries, pattern will spread out. The longer you hold the magnet when drying, the less it will spread.
This listing is for a standard full-sized 15ml /.5oz bottle with our glitter grabbing flat brush. Two stainless steel balls are included in every polish bottle.

I was so excited for this one but unfortunately there’s no gold or really any other colors shiftiness. This color is just chocolate brown and bronze without a very pronounced magnet effect. Maybe I got a bad batch? It’s still pretty but nothing like the pictures or what I was expecting.

This polish is phenomenal! The color shifts from molten lava to tiger eye to olive green. It's gorgeous always.

This polish is so dimensional and shifty, it's unbelievable. I can't wait to do some gorgeous fall manis with this amazing shade.

This is by far one of the most stunning polishes I've ever purchased!! The polish on it's own is so beautiful, but after the magnet is used it is beyond stunning. The shift of orange, red and good is so gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring at my nails. This was my first purchase from the brand, but I'm already got my list ready for the next time.

It's thicker than regular polish and definitely needs a learning curve... I bought the magnet with the 3 sides you can magnetize and it's very hard to use.

Once magnetized, this looks like straight up fire on your nails. The dimension of this polish is off the charts. It's perfect for fall, or any time you feel like rocking an awesome, shifty coppery-red.

This polish looks good whether or not you magnetize it. The color is a rich dark red and burnt orange shift. It's gorgeous, and I have never seen anything like it.

Solar Flair has a black base and is loaded with multi-chromatic shimmer that flashes rich brown, burgundy, orange, gold, olive, and green. I used three coats and the KB Shimmer magnet. I'll admit-- having tried magnetic polish before, I was skeptical about these new iterations (and only picked up a couple to try). But WOW! Other than the fact that I have no coordination and kept touching the magnet to my polish (doh!), it worked really well. And the magnet really makes the multi-chromatic hues sing in crazy beautiful ways! Super, duper cool.

I have tried using the magnet (purchased from KBShimmer) twice on the KBShimmer Solar Flair magnetic nail polish, and in both cases I was not able to achieve the "cat eye" effect. I am really disappointed, as the color is very pretty on its on, but I purchased it specifically to get the "cat eye" effect. I like the polish though, but was not able to get the look that was demonstrated in the pictures.
