As appealing as it may be to stay indoors all winter long, getting out to enjoy the chilly weather can be fun.  Whether hitting the slopes on skis or a snowboard, or zooming along trails via snowmobile, the thrill of speed can easily be found on the snow.  Strap on a pair of skates and the ice welcomes you to slap around a puck or twirl to your hearts content.  Let’s not forget about snow angels, snowmen, and sledding! There’s no denying that a fresh blanket of snow offers outdoor enthusiasts so many ways to enjoy the cooler temperatures.

Chill Out is a sky-blue nail polish with twinkling silver reflective glitters that echo falling snow.  Loaded with a multichrome shimmer, this shade shows off a rainbow of hues.  Glistening gold, pink, red, and warm orange easily pop against the cool blue base, while some angles even show hints of lime. Best in two coats, use with Smooth Moves and Clearly On Top for a glass-like like finish, or wear without either for a unique textured look.

Incredible Polish
This polish looks unreal in direct light, almost like using a green screen. It’s amazing and definitely one of my new favorites! I don’t know how they did it.

Amazingly Beautiful!
My first KBShimmer polish, as well as my first reflective polish! This polish is absolutely stunning, different from every angle and in every lighting condition. And the sparkles when it’s in direct light - wow! I kept stopping to stare at my nails! Warning to those new to reflective polishes - this goes on like a really heavy glitter, and I think that’s basically what it is? Very different texture from normal nail polish. I used it with base coat, two coats of this (though I think one would have been fine), then the glitter smoother, then two coats of top coat. Ended up very smooth and sparkly from every angle. The coloring was exactly as described, no unhappy surprises there!

One issue was removal. Total mess. But again, I’m brand new to reflective polishes and fairly new to nail art in general. I’ll go ahead and keep it five stars, since I think this is a me thing and not the polish’s fault, but I really would love some advice on removal. Would soaking have been better? I used an acetone based polish remover and cotton pads. Took forever and got blue coloring and small hard glitter particles all over. Came off with more remover and wipes, and I think ground my nails smoother in the process, and clean enough after washing my hands, but felt like quite the production!
