Take a Bough is a vibrant jade green nail polish. The bold green hue is accented by a gold-lime-green color-shifting shimmer that envelopes glowing holo flakes. In the shade, hints of darker green and teal can be seen at some angles, while a shy pop of bronze warms the green. Best in 2 coats.

If you’ve been on the fence about wearing a green polish this one is the perfect fit. It’s mostly green BUT the transitions are to a beautiful blue range (I’ve caught it around a true blue to a teal, think ocean vibes) and a green range (true green to more of the yellow-green). It’s hard to describe what all colors are really in this but man you’ll definitely fall in love with this shade moreso in person than what pictures can catch. The iridescent shimmers in it add so much depth (like a Christmas tree with silver tinsel!). Coming from experience with OPI, Essie, and China Glaze this formula has an amazing application. It was so easy to apply and highly pigmented on the first coat, but if you’re like me and miss an edge a second coat on slightly short nails wouldn’t be a bad idea. I don’t see long nails needing more than 2-3 coats. Highly recommend having this green you won’t be disappointed!

But I also think it’s great for summer because it looks kind of oceany, especially when you see the blue. I put Cirque Colors “XX” topper over it and wore it for half of December 🙂 I got so many compliments!

This polish was what finally made me take the leap to buy my first indie nail polish and kbshimmer bottle ever. This polish does not dissapoint. It mainly looks like a vibrant green, but this polish is so shifty! Shifting to the most beautiful blue and yellow in the edges depending on the lighting. The holo in here is amazing in the sun. And in the sun you can see the holo and all three colors at once. This is one of my top three fav kbshimmer polishes out of all the ones I purchased. Also great for any season/ time of year in my opinion. If you never tried kbshimmer or a true multichrome and found about them on youtube like I did, this is a great indie polish for beginners!
