Got this to go under a few of the metallic nail polishes – I’m impressed by how well it goes on in just one coat. It is very thick, but smoothes out nicely as it dries. I definitely recommend following up with a quick dry top coat as noted in the recommendations, but this is a fantastic polish – both by itself, and as a base for something more opaque that needs some oomf! Am I crazy for wanting it to be Halloween already?!

I finally found a one-coat black and it’s Total Eclipse! I had a spot or two that required a second coat but I think that’s due to user error and not the polish. I am THRILLED.
