Last winter, as the first snow was covering the asphalt, the parking lot looked to me like a big slab of granite with its shades of white, gray, and specks of black. That scene inspired me to create Take Me For Granite: a soft, pale gray crelly accented by bits of black, silver, and gray glitters.

I usually steer clear of this type of polish because I find them hard to use, but I am so thrilled that I went for this one. Easy, easy, easy application, and the glitter really stayed in place, which was great. Three thin coats looked great, although I think four would have been better for true opaqueness on my particular nails. Best of all is the pale grey base-so gorgeous and I love the softness of it compared to a white base. Thanks for a great color!

This is my first review for KB Shimmer polishes and a perfect polish to start with! I really liked this polish very much, it looked cool and edgy on and I got lots of compliments! The consistency is perfect, 3 thin coats gave me perfect coverage and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the glitter coverage too! I didn’t feel like I had to fish around and get glitter or anything and there wasn’t TOO much either. Removal was pretty typical for a glitter polish, nothing too dramatic and relatively easy. Love!

This is hands down the easiest crelly I have ever used. It applied gorgeously and I can’t stop wearing it. Geologist in me says it looks more like a gneiss though! I love geo themed polishes though.

I loved Oh Splat so I knew I would love this as well. Applies easily but does require multiple coats to be completely opaque.
