This has become my go to top coat! It is the only top coat I have tried that I can use over stamped designs and doesn’t smudge (If you float and don’t go back over the design too much). Dries fast with a glossy finish and it doesn’t shrink!

Clearly On Top is my go to topcoat. It dries so fast, and it’s super shiny! I always make sure I have a back-up bottle on hand just in case. I never get shrinkage from this topcoat like I have with others. You should definitely try it.

I’m a bit of a clutz and sometimes unintentionally bang my nails on something but this stuff is bullet proof. I started with one bottle. I re-ordered two bottles and just ordered the large refill size. So, that is five bottles in all. It does get thick but use thinner and it’s good to go. Seriously, desert island worthy. p.s. Clearly On Top is the most fitting name for this product. It’s so much better than any other top coat I have tried, and I’ve used quite a few. It dries the fastest and cures the fastest; no smudging, wrinkling, denting with this stuff. It is crazy shiny and stays shiny for days. It doesn’t shrink the polish under it. It did eventually get goopy, but there was maybe a fifth of the bottle left before that happened. I’ve used other top coats that dried as fast or as shiny or were as durable, but none with all of these qualities and none that cured so fast. This is the best.

I have been using Clearly On Top for about 2 years now. Whenever someone asks for a TC suggestion, I send them this way. It’s thick enough to use over glitter with 1 coat, maybe 2 if it’s SUPER chunky or textured. It drys super quick. I can pretty much go to bed right after I finish a mani and don’t wake with sheet matks. It drys quick enough for me to apply nail art by the time I’ve finished coating all my nails. The wear time is AHMAZING. *IF* I didn’t change my mani at least twice a week, I could EASILY have the same mani for a week. And that’s with cooking, cleaning, dishes, AND working 40+ hours with my hands in retail. I buy the big refill bottle and it lasts about 8 months, again I change my polish 2-3 times a week. You will NOT be disappointed with this top coat! My MIL, SIL, and now good friend absolutely love it. I did a mani for my friend, who’s visiting from out of state, and just ordered her a bottle. She’s also taken down the Web info to try some colors and decals! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Being a polish addict, I have used so many top coats from gel like to super shiny. Clearly on Top is hands down the absolute best. It dries super fast, is very glossy, and lasts. I like to change my mani every three days (polish addict remember). I used witch way polish, did a killer halloween design, applied 2 coats of Clearly, waited 8 days, and it still looked good. I am generally an OPI user, and somehow while shopping for OPI polishes, I came across the mention of KB shimmer top coat. I hadn’t ever heard of kb shimmer and so I looked it up. After reading several glowing reviews I decided to try it so I ordered a bottle (as well as 6 other polishes). It is nice and thick and goes on really well, but also dries really quickly! It gives the polish a really nice shine!! (I used one of the polishes I ordered from kb shimmer ). What a difference in how shiny the polish looks with the top coat compared to without. My order came within 3-4 days of when I ordered it and each bottle was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a shipping box which was placed inside a shipping envelope. The only thing now is to see how long my manicure lasts before it chips. I’m expecting great things from all the reviews!

I have loads of top coats, and since I order at least monthly from KB Shimmer, I decided – why not? I’ll try theirs as well. Wow…am I ever impressed! Not only does this baby dry within seconds, but it really covers well; I don’t need two coats with extra-glittery polishes. I literally just put it on 2 minutes ago, on top of Blue Topaz, and it’s already dry! So much so that I’m able to type this review with no dings or chips. The strong smell is worth it – it’s probably what helps it dry so quickly. Buy this; you won’t regret it! I am a collector, with nearly 2,000 bottles of polish, many of them vintage and cantankerous. I have used almost exclusively Seche Vite with the occasional application of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Glue and even less frequently, Gelous or essie Matte About You. After ThePolishAHolic advised me this would not dull holo finishes, I knew I had to buy it. I am not a member of the HHC group or anything, but I have some nice (and also vintage) holos. Clearly on Top clearly didn’t disappoint. After realizing how quickly I was going through it (even at only one mani per week), I knew it was time to up the ante. Clearly on Top will not dull your holos (test first to be sure), dries as quickly or more quickly than Seche, and is shinier than Seche. I’m sitting here with a full 8 oz SV refill plus at least that much in bottles sitting around and now I am wondering if I will ever use it for more than a refresher again. I have used this topcoat countless times and have put it though some serious tests, it it has yet to fail! It does have a bit of a strong smell when you open the bottle, but it really isn’t anything out of the ordinary. This top coat is super underrated, and deserves to be up with the big leagues!

I am a seche vite user and this one smells the same as that one so the formula must be very similar. That said, I do like this top coat. The difference is that this brand, KB Shimmer, dries much faster than normal polish so the top coat goes on and the polish is already dry. However, on top of my OPI nail polish, it acted very similar to SV and it’s cheaper so that’s the advantage. How did it stand up to my bare hand gardening? It did alright… got a couple of chips but hey, nothing is close to acrylics so it’s OK. Even SV has “failed” the gardening test sometimes. I’m satisfied with the purchase. 4 stars, the same as with SV, because it’s not very durable. If I could, I’d do 4.5 but I’m very rough on my hands. I rarely wear gloves for anything so on a normal user, this is probably a 5 star product.

I can brush it on and by the time it’s on all 10 fingers, it’s completely dry. Excuse me, what? I know! I was shocked too. And the price, get out of here! Let me get 10 of them! Most brands are like $10-$15 for a topcoat that you have to tip toe around with for a while, and then still ask someone to do life tasks for you, but not this one! Brush it on and you’re good to go! This is one of my favorite top coats, especially for nail stamping. Its thickness let’s you float the top coat enough to avoid streaking the image. It does have some shrinkage, I’d say minimal, and tbh I’ve never had a top coat that didn’t shrink some. I recently tried to go back to using Insta-dri by Sally Hansen since it’s locally available and it was my go to before I got into nail art. It’s probably still great for plain manicures, but it ruined my stamping. So back to ol’ reliable!

This top coat has a lovely consistency, dries super fast, and really doesn’t have any shrinkage! The only downside is this is one of the more pungent top coats I’ve used. If you have someone sensitive to smells in the house, don’t use this when they’re around. That said, it’s totally worth it!
