First, the formula is great, and it goes on smoothly. The color itself was what I thought I was looking for, going by the photos, a rosy mauve.

The reason I only gave it three stars, and this is just for my own personal preference: I expected the color to be lighter or brighter in hue than it ended up being. In normal light it looks predominantly like a slightly pink brown to my eye. Maybe that’s what I should have expected, and I don’t fault the product description or photos, but I was disappointed either way.

It’s a good, nude/neutral color, it’s just not for me.

This is my favorite mauve ever. I really like the formula too, it’s smooth and not too thin so it’s easy to apply for a beginner, and it looks perfect when dry. I got this as my first KBShimmer polish to try out the brand, and it’s an excellent first impression. I’ll be buying more and I’ll definitely buy this shade again when I finish the bottle.

I love this color when I want something simple and classy. It goes beautifully with my skin which doesn’t happen often with mauve colors. 2 coats and dries quick.

The creme was so smooth and went on like butter. I couldn’t stop rubbing my fingernails the finish was so smooth even without top coat. The color is also very rich and beautiful.

Understated, but not quiet. This polish goes on like silk and wears very well with full coverage in 2 coats. It wears beautifully and keeps my nails looking perfect for the office and leisure time. I was thinking it would be a lovely winter shade, but can easily see it fitting well into my spring wardrobe, as well.
