When searching for tops coats, we at KBShimmer wanted one that dried quickly, was super shiny, did not cause shrinkage with glitter nail polish, and did not yellow. When we found this top coat, it felt like finding the Holy Grail, so we made the decision to offer it here!

Best Top Coat Ever
This top coat is the best I've ever used and the only top coat I'll use from now on. It dries very quick, no shrinkage and my manicures last at least a week. I change my nails every week but when I clean the polish off, I still have no chips or wear. Coming from a wife and mother who is constantly cleaning something or washing my hands. I recommend this top coat over any other 100 percent!

Best Top Coat
I have tried several top coats and this is the best so far. I try to keep my polish on for 5-7 days, but it aways chips. I've had this on for 6 days so far and no chips.

Unbelievably Good
I had no idea it was possible for a topcoat to be this good! It dries insanely fast and has the best glossy finish! And for such a good price. I don't think I could say enough good things about this!!!

I keep buying this for good reason
You literally cannot find a quick-dry top coat that even penetrates layers of polish beneath, with a high-gloss finish like this, (and without shrinkage to boot) for a price like this anywhere else. Also the brush is perfect as well as having 2 mixing balls included? Love!

Best topcoat
My favorite topcoat; dries extremely fast, shiny, plump without being thick or goopy. I love that it doesn't shrink and so easy to use as well. The price point is amazing as well.

I wish I could give this topcoat more than 5 stars. I’ve tried SO SO SO many different brands and this is 100%, by far the absolute best. I can brush it on and by the time it’s on all 10 fingers, it’s completely dry. Excuse me, what? I know! I was shocked too. And the price, get out of here! Let me get 10 of them! Most brands are like $10-$15 for a topcoat that you have to tip toe around with for a while, and then still ask someone to do life tasks for you, but not this one! Brush it on and you’re good to go! It lasts too, well I’m probably not the best person to comment about it’s longevity because I change my polish every 2-3 days but either way, I’m far from disappointed.

2 coats is everything!
I use 2 coats to fully dry down any polish layers underneath, and it gives me a very shiny, durable finish in a quick dry formula without any shrinking!! Absolutely amazing. I have tested many topcoats, and this one so far is my absolute favorite! Highly recommend. Please do not stop selling it!

Best Topcoat Ever
This is the fastest drying top coat that I have ever used. It’s self-leveling is amazing and dries to a very hard, shiny finish with long-lasting durability. I have tried several other brands, have not been even close to satisfied, and always end up going back to this topcoat. This will be a forever staple in my nail polish collection.

Amazing
THIS is the topcoat you need. It lasts for a week perfectly, will last up to two weeks with mild to moderate chipping. Works awesome over stamping as long as you floated on the first coat. Dries super fast, works great on eight and 12 year old nails who don’t have the patience to wait for them to dry a long time. Amazing!

Ok as someone who has struggled to find good top coats in stores, I’ve just resorted to online stores but that all I can say is stressful. So many online stores that I couldn’t decide which to buy from. I used to use a different top coat that was pretty good but would stain light colors pink so even though I loved the formula, I needed to find a new one and this one was it. It applies very similar and I love it and after a couple hours a normal manicure would have already turned pink but not this one. My search has finally come to an end

Finally one that works!
I have always struggled to paint my nails because no matter how long I waited, they remained tacky and would gather imprints in the finish and little nicks here and there. With this, I can finish a whole manicure in record time and after maybe 10 minutes in front of a fan, I'm ready to do whatever I want. It goes on smooth and I'm at one week so far with no chips in sight. It does have an odd smell like nothing I've ever come across, but I will never use anything else!

LOVE!!!
Normally, my manicure only lasts for a max of 4 days. I'm currently on my day 7 with nary a chip in sight. It applies nicely--I prefer thinner polishes--and dries quickly. I can't imagine buying anything else after this. Can I give it more than 5 stars??

This top coat is The fastest drying one I've ever had the pleasure of using. I normally use Seche Vite, but this one is so much better. It dries in a couple of minutes, and it thin and smooth. I already ordered the 4oz refill, even though I have 2oz of Seche Vite still left. My new holy grail top coat.

Fast and Glossy
This was the first quick drying top coat I've ever used and I'll never go back to using anything else! It applies a great glossy shine over the nails which amplifies all the sparkle to my nails and it doesn't chip!

I cannot rave enough about this top coat. This is hands down the best one I have used and the only one I even bother using. I am so satisfied with this product that I am no longer on the hunt for a better one. This top coat applies amazingly over any nail polish without a single problem and dries very fast. My nail polish used to chip within a day or two after first application which would aggravate me to no end. Now I can enjoy looking at my perfect non chipped nails!

I adore this top coat. It goes on like liquid glass. Easy to apply, dries SO fast, and enhances holo and shimmer polishes. Kind of a strong smell, but I don't hate it, and the price is excellent.

Quick drying and protective
Very fast drying and easy to apply - it flows so smoothly off the brush! It really protected my manicure from tip wear. No shrinkage even after a week of wear!

This is currently my go-to top coat. It dries fast and is super glossy. I typically put a second coat on after a few days. The one drawback is that it's very easy to get bubbles in your finished manicure so you have to be very diligent in brushing them out during application.

Good top coat
I am a seche vite user and this one smells the same as that one so the formula must be very similar.
That said, I do like this top coat. The difference is that this brand, KB Shimmer, dries much faster than normal polish so the top coat goes on and the polish is already dry.
However, on top of my OPI nail polish, it acted very similar to SV and it's cheaper so that's the advantage.
How did it stand up to my bare hand gardening? It did alright... got a couple of chips but hey, nothing is close to acrylics so it's OK. Even SV has "failed" the gardening test sometimes. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

If you are looking for the ultimate topcoat that dries instantly, is easy to apply, has incredible shine, and lasts, you have come to the right one. I have used this topcoat countless times and have put it though some serious tests, it it has yet to fail! It does have a bit of a strong smell when you open the bottle, but it really isn't anything out of the ordinary. This top coat is super underrated, and deserves to be up with the big leagues!

Dries fast, doesn't shrink around the edges, wasn't a thick gloppy mess to work with but still smoothed everything out beautifully and holds shine longer than the other top coats I've tried. A huge upgrade from SV.

Knocked Seche from a Pedestal
I am a collector, with nearly 2,000 bottles of polish, many of them vintage and cantankerous. I have used almost exclusively Seche Vite with the occasional application of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Glue and even less frequently, Gelous or essie Matte About You.
After ThePolishAHolic advised me this would not dull holo finishes, I knew I had to buy it. I am not a member of the HHC group or anything, but I have some nice (and also vintage) holos. Clearly on Top clearly didn't disappoint. After realizing how quickly I was going through it (even at only one mani per week), I knew it was time to up the ante.
Clearly on Top will not dull your holos (test first to be sure), dries as quickly or more quickly than Seche, and is shinier than Seche. I'm sitting here with a full 8 oz SV refill plus at least that much in bottles sitting around and now I am wondering if I will ever use it for more than a refresher again.

I am a collector, with nearly 2,000 bottles of polish, many of them vintage and cantankerous. I have used almost exclusively Seche Vite with the occasional application of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Glue and even less frequently, Gelous or essie Matte About You.
After ThePolishAHolic advised me this would not dull holo finishes, I knew I had to buy it. I am not a member of the HHC group or anything, but I have some nice (and also vintage) holos. Clearly on Top clearly didn't disappoint. After realizing how quickly I was going through it (even at only one mani per week), I knew it was time to up the ante.
Clearly on Top will not dull your holos (test first to be sure), dries as quickly or more quickly than Seche, and is shinier than Seche. I'm sitting here with a full 8 oz SV refill plus at least that much in bottles sitting around and now I am wondering if I will ever use it for more than a refresher again.

The price is great, and the coverage is amazing. I read that some people were saying that the smell was strong, but I didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary. It dried quickly, and left me with a glossy shine.

My Favorite Top Coat
I bought this on a whim with one of my first orders. It's the best top coat I have ever used. Even better than most of the big brands out there. I love how shiny it is and how fast it dries. It works well with glitter, adding shine and smoothness. I definitely recommend it.

I had used top coat only from a beauty store before this. I had been very skeptical to buy clearly on top since it was such a low cost. After using this I now swear by it! It is simply the best top coat out there. It dries super quick, which is awesome for moms on the go, and is shiny!!! I'll never go back!

Excellent Taco!
I have loads of top coats, and since I order at least monthly from KB Shimmer, I decided - why not? I'll try theirs as well. Wow...am I ever impressed! Not only does this baby dry within seconds, but it really covers well; I don't need two coats with extra-glittery polishes. I literally just put it on 2 minutes ago, on top of Blue Topaz, and it's already dry! So much so that I'm able to type this review with no dings or chips. The strong smell is worth it - it's probably what helps it dry so quickly. Buy this; you won't regret it! (And it costs even less than the drug store one I purchased last month, so that's an extra bonus.) Great job, KB!

I am generally an OPI user, and somehow while shopping for OPI polishes, I came across the mention of KB shimmer top coat. I hadn't ever heard of kb shimmer and so I looked it up. After reading several glowing reviews I decided to try it so I ordered a bottle (as well as 6 other polishes). It is nice and thick and goes on really well, but also dries really quickly! It gives the polish a really nice shine!! (I used one of the polishes I ordered from kb shimmer ). What a difference in how shiny the polish looks with the top coat compared to without. My order came within 3-4 days of when I ordered it and each bottle was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a shipping box which was placed inside a shipping envelope. The only thing now is to see how long my manicure lasts before it chips. I'm expecting great things from all the reviews!

This is the best top coat I have come across. I had previously used Ciate London and although their polish is pretty good, KBShimmer is the best. Keep up the good work, you've got a real winner.

This top coat really does dry quickly but also makes for a shiny strong finish. It does have a strong smell at first but that dissipates in minutes.

If Gelous and Seche Vite got together and had a love-baby it would be this!! The brush is nice and substantial which means that you can actually achieve a three stroke application. KBShimmer is quickly becoming my go to place for top notch products. Everything I have purchased so far has been excellent and I can't wait to try more.

CoT is shiny & dries quickly, but most importantly, it doesn't smear stamping or shrink my polish! A+++

I have been a long time user of another well-known quick dry top coat. Loved how fast it was, but left a lot of shrinking issues. Just received Clearly on Top and I love it! Not only does it dry and harden just as fast, there is no shrinking. Its nice and thick which covers textures such as Yeti or Not perfectly. I will definitely buy again the next time I'm in need.

Clearly the best!
Being a polish addict, I have used so many top coats from gel like to super shiny. Clearly on Top is hands down the absolute best. It dries super fast, is very glossy, and lasts. I like to change my mani every three days (polish addict remember). I used witch way polish, did a killer halloween design, applied 2 coats of Clearly, waited 8 days, and it still looked good. Clearly doesn't smudge stamping designs and it works for decals. Amazing!!

Simply the best!
This topcoat is a perfection. It dries fast, including all the layers of polish underneath. It's thick enough to cover glitter polish in one coat, but thin enough not to feel bulky. The only drawback is strong smell, but I got used to it quickly.

Best topcoat out there
I have been using Clearly On Top for about 2 years now. Whenever someone asks for a TC suggestion, I send them this way. It's thick enough to use over glitter with 1 coat, maybe 2 if it's SUPER chunky or textured. It drys super quick. I can pretty much go to bed right after I finish a mani and don't wake with sheet matks. It drys quick enough for me to apply nail art by the time I've finished coating all my nails. The wear time is AHMAZING. *IF* I didn't change my mani at least twice a week, I could EASILY have the same mani for a week. And that's with cooking, cleaning, dishes, AND working 40+ hours with my hands in retail. I buy the big refill bottle and it lasts about 8 months, again I change my polish 2-3 times a week. You will NOT be disappointed with this top coat! My MIL, SIL, and now good friend absolutely love it. I did a mani for my friend, who's visiting from out of state, and just ordered her a bottle. She's also taken down the Web info to try some colors and decals! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I have always loved KB Shimmer nail polishes and decided after seeing many nail bloggers using KB Shimmer Clearly on Top Quick Dry Top Coat I would give it a try and it does not disappoint!! I am on my second bottle now and had to make sure I ordered a replacement prior to my first bottle running out. I goes on very easily, leaves no bubbles and is smooth. It dries quickly. I am so happy with this product and would highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a new top coat! Another awesome product from an awesome company!

This really is the best topcoat. I am asked repeatedly if I have gels and I tell them, no - it's the topcoat. Dries fast so I avoid the annoying smudges. My favorite!!

Okay so I try lots of top coats, especially the ones that dry fast. I'm so impatient! Well, this top coat WINS hands down compared to more expensive brands by far! "I buy one of these babies almost every time I place and order". It doesn't smudge my stamp designs, applies evenly without bubbles or wrinkles. Its so shiny that I feel like I'm wearing a gel polish & dry's super fast. Long lasting because a week will go by and this mani is still looking good thanks to KB Shimmer! Buy this if you havent already! The price is right and the top coat product is pristine.

It dries the fastest and cures the fastest; no smudging, wrinkling, denting with this stuff. It is crazy shiny and stays shiny for days. It doesn't shrink the polish under it. It did eventually get goopy, but there was maybe a fifth of the bottle left before that happened. I've used other top coats that dried as fast or as shiny or were as durable, but none with all of these qualities and none that cured so fast. This is the best.

To classify this Top Coat, you'd have to know the movie Top Gun. Everybody does, right? Well, here's my take on this Top Coat...it flies so high and dries on the fly. Yes, you can do a "fly by" and you don't even have to request it. This clear quick dry top coat secures your Polish with ease. It's strength boasts a high and dry brightness to your polishes. I love, love, love mine, and won't turn to any others from now on.

I have started dabbling in nail art and stamping and found that other top coats would cause my designs to the bleed and didn't give me the shine I was looking for. This has by far outperformed everything else I have tried and exceeded my expectations. It dries quickly, has great shine and my nail art still looks great after applying. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to use this from now on

I'm a bit of a clutz and sometimes unintentionally bang my nails on something but this stuff is bullet proof. I started with one bottle. I have bought this top coat twice because it's so good. I love that it doesn't smear any nail art that I may try and it's so long lasting, I just wore it for over 6 days with the same mani and there was just the barest hint of tip wear. Super impressed.

Hands down, my favorite top coat
I've used Out The Door, Seche Vite, and even HK Girl top coats in the past, but this is hands down the best. It's not thin, it's not thick, it dries glossy and smooth, doesn't smear, and it dries fast and solid. I absolutely love this top coat.

This top coat is perfect. Not too thin and not too thick. It is very shiny and dries quickly. It lasts on me about average. I usually get tip wear 3-4 days later. I can go a week with chips with this top coat. I love it and highly recommend it.

It does exactly what it says, quick dry and seals in the polish so it isn't ruined if you accidentally touch it. I didn't think such a thing was possible. I work at a bookstore and bang my nails quite a lot. This top coat did a great job, the only wear is at the tips, which seems reasonable as much as I use my hands. After one shift, I just applied another coat and sealed the tips. Very impressed with this top coat, I never thought I could wear polish while working because it never held up.

My holy grail topcoat!
I cannot say enough good things about this topcoat other than it is a holy grail item for me. I always have a few backups on hand because I never want to be without it. This topcoat dries quickly, doesn't shrink my manicures, doesn't have a strong stinky scent and it evens out those unruly glitter-bomb manis.

I have not received it yet, just getting ready to order it. If it is like the other purchases I made and received I'm quite sure this will be as good, shipping is excellent, not one is broken because it is wrapped as good as it gets. Recommend this seller to all nail buffs. Can't say enough good things about this vendor.

I reach for Clearly On Top almost every single mani. It really is quick drying and easy to use. I need to try the matte topcoat next!

This topcoat dried just as fast as promised so I could shower or sleep worry-free shortly after finishing a mani, and my bottle had a great consistency down to the last drop. I already bought myself a large refill bottle, and I will never again be spending $6+ on a drugstore topcoat that will become unusably thick 2/3 of the way in. Clearly on Top is where it's at.

My favorite topcoat
This has been my fave topcoat for two years straight. I love that it dries fast and shiny, and doesn't smudge or cause shrinkage. It also protects my nails from chipping for at least a couple of days. And the price point can't be beat!

Best Topcoat Ever!
Clearly On Top is my go to topcoat. It dries so fast, and it's super shiny! I always make sure I have a back-up bottle on hand just in case. I never get shrinkage from this topcoat like I have with others. You should definitely try it.

Best Top Coat Evah!!!!
This has become my go to top coat! It is the only top coat I have tried that I can use over stamped designs and doesn't smudge (If you float and don't go back over the design too much). Dries fast with a glossy finish and it doesn't shrink!
